How do I begin a search for parts?
You can do parametric search from the homepage by selecting the links available under the "Parametric Search" box found along the left side of the page.
From anywhere on the site, you can also access the parametric search by selecting the menu option "High-Brightness LEDs," from a drop down option when hovering over the "Parametric Search" menu option, located in the navigation of any page. You can also enter a keyword into the search box in the upper right corner to get an instant parametric search result.
How does the parametric search work?
You can base your search for high-brightness LEDs on the following 11 parameters:
- Manufacturer
- Package type
- Emitting color
- Color temperature
- Wavelength
- Forward current (maximum)
- Forward voltage (maximum)
- Lens type
- Viewing angle
- Luminous flux
- Luminous intensity
Search Tip:If you want to refine your search, you can select multiple items by holding down the Ctrl key while you make your selections.
Once you select your parameters click the "Search" button. If you want to start your search fresh click the "Reset" button.
As with parametric search, the Search box is tied directly to data associated with high-brightness LEDs. You can enter anything associated with the following component parameters (hit the Enter key or click the Go button):
- Part number (either exact or partial)
- Manufacturer (everyone we are franchised to carry; see our HB-LED manufacturer list)
- Package type (e.g. thru-hole, T-1, etc.)
- Emitting color (amber, green, white, etc.)
- Color temperature (e.g. 3,000, 6,500, etc.)
- Wavelength (e.g. 455, 525, etc.)
- Forward current (e.g. 5, 25, 70)
- Forward voltage (e.g. 1.75, 2.08, etc.)
- Lens type (e.g. clear, diffused, dome, etc.)
- Viewing angle (e.g. 20, 90, 120, etc.)
- Luminous flux (e.g. 1.7, 5000, etc.)
- Luminous intensity (e.g. 15, 450, etc.)
Can I sort the search results?
Yes. You can sort results for high-brightness LEDs alphanumerically by choosing the descending or ascending arrow options at the top of each column within a particular category of the search results.
Yes, within the part search results for HB-LEDs. If a data sheet is available for a specific part click the pdf icon under the "Datasheet" column.
What if I want to check a price or buy a HB-LED part?
Click the "buy" icon to get pricing information. (A new browser will open, and you'll be at the North American components web site for Arrow Electronics, arrownac.com.) You will see the part's price in the pricing column. If you want to buy parts you can add selections to a shopping cart. (Please note: you can find help information on ordering, payment, shipping, return policy and more on arrownac.com.)
Can I perform searches for other components other than HB-LEDs?
Unfortunately, you can't at this time. We do have plans to add parametric search capabilities for other components, such as drivers, optics, thermal, etc. You can use our Arrow Lighting Selector Guide for additional research within these categories. (Look for Selector Guide within the navigation.)
What is the Arrow Lighting Selector Guide?
The Selector Guide is a downloadable PDF broken out by the following technologies: HB-LEDs, drivers, controls, optics, thermal management, modules and integrated solutions. Complete with product briefs, you can simplify your search for the optimal solution.
How do I contact the Arrow Lighting Group?
You can call us at 1-888-9LIGHT1 (1-888-954-4481) or you can contact us by sending your general questions, technical questions, pricing, and availability inquires to The Lighting Solutions Group.
